I've been using the Safety 1st spring latches that go inside, but the one on the most used cabinet (the garbage) keeps breaking - I can't seem to get DH or anyone else who comes in my house to understand you need to push the latch down to close the door, they just want to slam it shut.... I'm on my 3rd replacement... anyone have an alternative? Maybe a better brand? Something DH can operate with out breaking? The cabinet has a one next to it, are the ones that connect the knobs on the outside easy for you to operate?
Thanks!
Re: Recommend Your Cabinet locks
We use these- https://www.amazon.com/Mommys-Helper-Safe-Lok-Cabinet-Drawer/dp/B000GE6W2K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1268411043&sr=8-2-spell
They were recommended by a professional baby proofer. They open about an inch or so, and then lock into place so your child doesn't get their fingers caught in the door.
These were also recommended by him- https://www.amazon.com/KidCo-Adhesive-Mount-Magnet-Lock/dp/B000WWWUAY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1268411134&sr=1-3-spell
We have these and love them..
