I was curious about these, and then I read that the website sometimes makes random charges on your card. I think you can use Paypal, though? If anyone has experience with this site, I'd love to hear it!

Yep, you do not end up with a free meal(well a $2 meal), but you end up with $25 dollars off of a meal, which is pretty awesome. DH and I never go out for less than $50 (to a nice place that is) anyway, so it is just like taking $23 off of your meal for us.

A lot of the restaurants have conditions, gratuity not included, it is often only dinner also. Definitely check out the conditions before buying.

i use them all the time without any problems. my sister in law used it about 4 mos ago though and she must have checked some box at the end because she was enrolled in some program that started charging her $20 a month and it was a pita to get taken off. so i guess be careful what you check/uncheck at checkout.

We went to Jo DiMaggio's last weekend with a restaurant.com GC and it was really reasonable. We spent about $50 for our meal (and had a $50 GC). It was a really fun evening for the two of us because we never go to fancy places!

You have to read the terms for each one individually - they vary from place to place. I put 4 g/cs in my cart for one place & then noticed it said you can only use one a month, and only at lunch. But other places have very few restrictions. So read each one carefully!
