So i am sitting here at work, family office, and my uncle walks in and starts asking me,"what would you do if Stella(my lo) was found walking around town in a few years?" I said, "That probably wont happen, she should be watched." So....he was driving back from lunch and him and another employee see this 2ish year old WALKING DOWN THE STREET! She was totaly alone and in a onsie. So they pick her up and start knocking on doors, nobody claims her. They come to a house and the door is cracked...ok this must be her house they think. They stand outside knocking and ringing for 10min! and nothing. So they decide to finaly call the cops. They get there and go inside and the lady comes out and is like, "oh, um ya shes mine....oh, ya she just learned to open doors." My uncle was so mad. He said the police officer laid into her. Come to find out, she was only 1 1/2,. I cant believe you didnt notice your child missing for 30min. Because you were on the computer.

This makes me CRAZY. When I was younger, I knew a boy who lived with his mom and grandma. His grandma was stoned, his mom was out at a bar and Grandma's dog got a hold of him and bit him several times in the face, arms and shoulder. The grandma passed out from drinking and doing drugs. She woke up to the boy bleeding horribly and called 911 and when the police got there, the mother got home and they gave her the option of getting rid of the dog or having her child taken away. Guess which one she picked? She kept the dog. The boy was scarred from previous dog attacks that went untreated.
Neglect makes me more mad than any other thing that parents do.
