pbgop = potential baby girl optimus prime
Of course, I was unable to limit myself to just ONE thing.
Trumpette:

A bonnet:
Strasburg daygown:
I figured the socks would be easy enough to return (Nordstrom) or they'd be a good baby gift if it ends up our gender guess was wrong, and the bonnet/gown is something timeless enough or heirloom enough that I could either sell it, give it as a gift or return it.
Re: what I bought for pbgop (in case anyone cares)
love love love the bonnet and gown....not a fan of the socks though!
You my secret confession is that I do hope you are having a girl because I cant wait to see the stuff you dress her in. I live vicariously thru you when it comes to clothes because #1 I just cant bring myself to spend that much on clothes for anyone ... not even me. #2 I just love how you dress ds!
hanging my head in shame lol
pbgop = LOVE!
And your selections are fab!
LOL, krisbri!
That's not a bad confession. I'm honored!
Actually sometimes I think I am crazy, esp because of how OCD I am about the laundry because of the money I spend on the clothes. but, it is fun, which is why I do it!
GO BIG OR GO HOME!
I LOVE Strasbug! Just got this one for DD.
Ha! I was about to post, well the Strasburg gown was really a go big or go home purchase. Well done. ?
oh that is beautiful!
Strasburg is my favorite. I'm so excited for OP's baptism b/c I get to bust out my Strasburg baptismal gown/jacket again. LOVE.
We got her a baptism gown from there too, and i'm so excited to preserve it for when she has kids of her own.
I'm addicted to their stuff. I'm so excited that we have a bagillion weddings coming up that we need to bring kids to. Girl's gotta have a new dress for every occasion. Good thing DH has NO idea how much they cost. He'd die, or kill me first.
Note to self: Avoid opening eclaire's posts from now on as all the beautiful girly-ness the posts may contain may be too much for this mom of three boys.
Seriously, though... enjoy. I would KILL to be shopping for all those frilly girl things. I hope your early prediction was correct! Do you have a profile/nub shot from the u/s to post so we can see if the tech was right???
Ryan 5/2010, Kyle 1/2007, Eric 3/2005
I do have one but I need to scan it. Although, like I told breezee, I'm not sure it's a straight up profile shot because the baby actually looks like s/he is tilted towards the screen a bit. It's hard to explain, but I'm definitely posting it for some expert opinions.
MH is so so so so nervous about the idea of a girl, it's kind of funny. I think he'd like it if the tech was wrong! LOL.
We'll have our big u/s sometime at the end of April/early May. In the meantime, I'm going to try to avoid shopping too much.
ME TOO! Which is why I totally bought it. It's a little old fashioned, probably, but so cute!
You've seen this site, right?

omydearlord. NO.

I hate you.
Thank God I can sew.
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
Their pieces are sooo pretty in person - lovely fabrics, perfect finishing - gorgeous. Gawd, I wish I could dress DS#2 as a girl - lol.
****smooches****
Thank goodness I have two boys (and don't live in the south)
I can't sew AND I live in the south.
I'm DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED.
Girl, I am so living vicariously through you - get shopping, please
I love it all.
pbgop is going to be such a gorgeous baby girl!!
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
Even if she's unfortunate looking, she'll at least be the best dressed!
hahahhahaha!
Although, I'm not biased, but Jackson was pretty much the cutest infant ever.
