I think it's getting easier to take care of these girls. All the veteran parents said it would get a lot easier when E. was 18 months old, but she just turned 2 in February and I'm definitely feeling a difference. Sarah will be 4 at the beginning of June and that's a huge part of it also. She's less defiant, easier to reason with and learning to go potty without any prompting. She's staying dry overnight so we've recently ditched the nighttime pull-ups.
It feels good to be in this place. I hope I haven't jinxed everything by posting this. ![]()
Re: Getting easier.
I'm jealous!!! But honestly...having a baby under 3 months has been easy since she can't argue back and wears whatever I want her to wear!

I swear it starts to get easier when the younger child hits the six month mark. You'll start to feel like you can go more places with them without too much hassle and that you can breathe again. You're almost there!
That is so great to hear! Between that and them going to school on the same days next year, you're going to feel like a new woman!
4 was the magic age for us too. It's amazing the changes that take place from 3 to 4. Sam's almost 5 now, and although Hannah's getting tougher, she's a breeze compared to Sam at that age!
I am glad to hear this! I don't think having 2 is terribly hard all the time, but on days when Avery feels like being a PITA, it is a nightmare. Unfortunately, we've had a lot of those days lately. I am glad to know that 4 is a good turning point.
