chair highchair/booster?

I know a bunch of you posted about the small booster/highchair thing you have - you know, the kind that straps to a normal chair - I just can't find the post!

Could you recommend one that you like?

  • We keep the FP Healthy Deluxe at the grandparent's house and it works great. It also folds up small for travel. They sell them at BBB.

  • tomas used to use this one and we really loved it. he still uses it at my parents house when we have dinner there.

we bought this one to keep in the car and while it does the job when we are out, it's not our favorite. tomas slid out of it regularly (not on purpose) and i woudln't recommend for a child under 2.

  • We have both this Fisher Price model and this Safety First model.  Both are great.  We leave one in the car and use one at home.  I bought both off Crags List for less than half price.

We have this Fisher Price one.  We like it, but have nothing to compare it to.

DD #1 has moved on to this one.  I have no earthly clue why it's so expensive.  When we bought it, it seemed to be the only one of its kind (technically a "booster" seat, not a high chair, but still with a "seat belt"), but now there are many more on the market like it that are cheaper.

Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
  • We have the Fisher Price Rainforest Booster.  We took it everywhere with us before we switched her from the highchair to the booster at home.  She loved the toys on it and they kept her occupied while we would eat.

  • We have been using the Edie Bauer pop up booster.  Its $25.00 at Target or Buy Buy Baby.  We now have one for the house and one for the car.  It's really portable and easy to clean.  Overall works great.

  • I just saw this on the buybuybaby website and thought of this post.  I have no idea if it would really work but it just looked so cute.
