What brand of bubble bath?

What do you use for your LO that offers the best bubbles? I being the awful mother that I am, only today realized that Jackson has never had a bubble bath and he LOVED it! But I only used the body wash we had so suds were minimal. Now I have something else for the Easter basket!

Re: What brand of bubble bath?

  • I haven't tried it yet but Johnson & Johnson makes a baby bubble bath.

  • We use the Mr. Bubbles scent/dye-free stuff.  Carter loves it!

  • I just use some of the shampoo. Not sure how much bubble bath stuff is but I got tons of cheap J&J shampoo when I worked there. Seems to have fine bubbles.
  • J&J bubble bath/wash. Blue bottle. SMELLS SOOOO GOOD.

  • I used the lavendar J&J bubble bath/wash and it gave him HORRENDOUS HIVES.  They lasted for about a week and were so so so bad.  After lots of troubleshooting with the pedi, we figured it was the bubblebath.  The pedi we saw is historically pretty conservative, but he said there is NO REASON to give babies bubble baths.  He even went as far to say that bubble baths should not be given to kids under 13 years old.  Like I said, he is very conservative and I certainly know people who do bubble baths all the time with no issue at all, but we threw our bottle away right away.  No more bubble baths for DS!

I just wanted to pass along the info!

FWIW - we do get a good amount of bubbles in the bath by just using the J&J regular wash/shampoo.

  • My kids are easily swayed by marketing. One kid likes the one with Cars on it, the other likes Spider-Man so that's what they get. Stick out tongue
  • We love California Baby!
