Hi everyone, The TTC Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join we will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! Feel free to search under TTC prayer group and check in at whatever time of day. If you have any concerns, special prayer requests, or need to reach us outside of the nest email us at suzannesteward69@yahoo.com or jplotz22@gmail.com.
If you want to join the group and be linked up with a prayer partner please provide the following info: your name, if you choose, your email address, your age, if you are TTC baby number 1, 2, etc, and how long you've been trying. I'll assign you a partner the following day and you can begin posting as soon as you ask to join. Thanks!
I am Suzanne, 39 years old, and my DH and I have been trying to have a baby for four years. In 2008, we had undertaken fertility treatments and had four IUIs ? all BFNs. We got our BFP after completing our first IVF cycle. Unfortunately, however, I had a missed miscarriage and a D&C on September 17. We will try IVF again in the summer.
I am Jessica; after TTC with PCOS for almost a year DH and I have been blessed with a miracle through IVF. Our daughter is due May 19th, 2010.
For this week, March 8-12, Suzanne will post between 8:00-10:00 a.m. Eastern time. For next week, March 15-19, Jessica will post between 11:30-12:30 Central standard time

This Week?s Events:
?-Diva?s 18 week ultrasound
3/11- Suzanne?s biopsy
3/13-Haley Elizabeth?s weight check
3/15-Pink Roses NT Scan
Praise:
*Shotzie: She had her baby on 2/23/10. The induction was successful and went very well. Thanks for all the prayers! Here are the stats:
Hailey Elizabeth born 2/23/10 at 2:58pm
Weight: 7 lbs, 14 oz
Length: 21 inches
She's doing great! They had her 2 week check up today and the only issue is that she's not back up to her birth weight yet. She weighs 7 lbs, 8 oz right now. They have a weight check for her this Friday. Please pray she'll have gained a good amount of weight by then.
*Softskate: She had her big u/s on Monday (3/5) and she and her baby are doing well!
*Tonys Bride 2B: is pregnant! She?s in her early second trimester now!
Perry: She had an ultrasound on 2/15 because of continued spotting-they saw a heartbeat!! *Also, some of her coworkers were very understanding about bedrest and covered for her with her TAing responsibilities so that she could be safe and stay in bed.
PinkRoses: Her ultrasound went great! Her little one was kicking away J
Diva: Her 2nd ultrasound went great-baby looks like a baby J She measured right on track at 9w3d with a hb of 165. Please pray for a continually H&H 9 months!
Special Prayer Requests:
PinkRoses: Her next ultrasound is on Friday, 2/26. Please pray that all goes well!
Softskate: She and her baby seem to be doing well. Her blood pressure is creeping up even though she?s already on meds for it, so they?re watching that closely with the MFM now. She has her big u/s. on March 8. After that, she will have NST and growth u/s at 24, 28, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 weeks and will be induced when it is found that the baby is safer out than in. She won?t be allowed to go past 39 weeks for sure. Please pray that she will be able to keep her blood pressure down so that they can prevent early onset pre-e and other scary complications. A praise ? she doesn?t have GD!
Perry: She had an ultrasound today to check on the progress of the hematoma and got some shocking news--what they thought was a hematoma wasn't actually a hematoma, it was the remains of a lost twin. This is very bittersweet, they are sad for the lost twin but thrilled that the remaining baby is safe. Thank you for your prayers, ladies!
*KyleneD: Her friend Jen did not have her baby yet. Late last night (3/6) the doctor decided not to induce her. Apparently there is no evidence of a rupture in her amniotic fluid - it must have repaired itself. She's staying in the hospital until the baby is born, which could be days or weeks. Everyday the baby stays in is one less day in the NICU! Thanks for the prayers!
*Zanymermaid: She met with the surgeon who will be doing her breast biopsy and she feels much better now! He is almost certain that it is a benign fibrosis, about 85% of women under 45 will have a benign fibrosis which is good news. Please pray all goes well! She is also having difficulties with her Sunday school instructor. Please pray that situation will be resolved soon.
Borst-Plotz: A fellow nestie and friend of Borst-Plotz?s just had her 20 week ultrasound. Her friend found out that she is having a boy, but he has some serious health problems. He may have a chromosome disorder and possibly problems with his brain, but his heart is missing a valve as well as some other issues. Her friend and her friend?s DH don?t know if the baby is going to make it or what the perinatologist can do but please pray for their family and him.
rp_panda: She had her HSG test done. Her doctor verified that she does have PCOS, but not an extreme case. She has 3 follicles measuring 15 which means a good chance for twins! She will take a shot on Thursday of Ovidrel and will have a progesterone check next week to make sure everything worked. Please pray for a BFP this cycle!

Re: ***TTC PRAYER GROUP****
QOTD: We're finally getting some good weather here in NYC. I'm LOVING it!!!
Congratulations, Shotzie!!! Hailey Elizabeth is a beautiful name.
Prayers and thoughts to all you ladies, as always.
QOTD: It has been awesome around here lately. The thermometer in the car has said 60-65 degrees the last couple days. It's still cool, but it is way better than snow.
Update: I forgot to mention the last time that the doctor had me start taking metformin, starting with 1 pill for 7 days then 2 pills for 7 days then 3 pills from then on... well I've only gotten up to the 2 pills and I have a terrible break out. I am broke out all over my face, neck, chest and back. It is absolutely horrible. My face itches and looks terrible. I called the doctor to see if this was a side effect or if they had an suggestions to help it go away... the doctor said that it looks like I must be allergic to the metfromin. So they want me to stop taking it. There is another option for me to take another medicine, but I have to call them back to let them know if I want to take it. But it sounds like my skin has to clear up first. So now I'm nervous that if I'm not pregnant, that I won't start my period, b/c I'm not on prometrium anymore b/c the metformin was supposed to make things start. So now I'm not sure what's gonna happen. Let's just pray that I am pregnant and we won't have to worry about anything.
A side note: My best friend just found out that she's pregnant on Tuesday. I am super excited for her, but some times is sad too, to think that I have yet to feel that joy of finding out you're pregnant. So I'm trying to stay positive and hope for the best.
