I have maimed Sophie

Olivia spit up on Sophie this morning, so I ran her under some hot water to clean her off, (Sophie, not O).  I guess I usually just wipe her down with a baby wipe or something, because the water was not good.  The squeaker sounds like it is, well, underwater.  Luckily the squeaker is not our favorite part of Sophie, but hopefully it will dry out and be back to normal soon.

    I hurt Sophie, too!  I put her in a sterilizing bag and now shes mute!

    We have a mute Sophie.

    She fell out of the car seat and spent the night on the sidewalk. Luckily DH found her the next morning. I soaked her in dish soap and now the squeaker is dead. Of course her squeaker could have died in some tragic jogging hit and run accident as well.

    I'm surprised that such a pricey little toy can have such a universal manufacturing flaw like that.  For that price, she'd better be darn indestructible!

    This happened to our Sophie when I washed her but after she dried out she's as good as new!
