That i am 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and at 0 station. She was able to feel the babies head. I will be 36 weeks on Friday. Has anyone walked around like this till their due date or is there a pretty good change my baby will come within the next couple of weeks?

I had almost the exact thing told to me at my 34 week appt with DS and I had him at exactly 36 weeks. Everyone is different, but that's what happened with me!

Sorry it means nothing- that's why women will refuse internals. You could be 0 cm dilated and 0% effaced and give birth 2 hours later or you could be walking around at 3 cm dilated and 60& effaced for weeks.

Totally unpredictable and everyone is different. Chances are you'll walk around like that for weeks.

I have been 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced since my first internal...And still, no baby at 38 weeks today.

I've been 2cm and 70% for 2 weeks and nothing yet.

It may mean something and it may not.

I was the exact same as you at 35 weeks and delivered at 41. Everybody is different.

Unfortunately dilation means nothing. I was a 3 with DD for wks.

I was the same, and at my next appointment nothing had changed. She told me that I'd probably be overdue since it was my first, and I delivered that night.... so like everyone else said, theres no knowing of when it will happen.

I was 2-3 cm and something effaced (can't remember) with DS at 36 weeks...he was born at 40+4. It doesn't mean much but you never know and you could go whenever!

Yesterday at my 36wk I was 2cm 80% effaced and 0 station with regular contractions everyday for the last week!!! My 1st DD was born at 36wks...I asked my doc if I would go on with these contractions (which he said were latent labor) for another month and he said no, probably another 2wks at best. YAY!!

I think you probably have a good chance of going early.

With my LO, I lasted for 2.5 weeks with stats like that. The good news is that if the babe is already at a zero station, your labor should be fast (mine was 5 hours from water breaking to baby being born). Good luck!

yep - with DD I was 75% effaced and 1cm dilated and she was 5 days late! It was frustrating because my doc kept saying "you won't make it to the weekend" and then several passed including my due date...it can vary so much and that stuff doesn't have a ton of meaning...you can go form nothing to labor in a day - or you can have "progress" and weeks to go... good luck!
