growth ultrasound went really well!

yesterday we had our growth ultrasound b/c 2 weeks ago the doctor estimated the baby at 6-7lbs. Well after a great ultrasound the computer measured the baby at 6lbs 7 oz with about 3.5 weeks to go so we're looking at a very healthy 8pounder! This made me feel SO MUCH BETTER! I find out for sure tomorrow when I meet with the midwife but I'm pretty sure I will still be allowed to go to 42w1d if need be since we're only talking 9lbs YEAH!!! We got a cute shot of cookie holding his/her knee, and another of the nose and lips (looking up) I was surprised at how low she had to go to get the head! no wonder I'm peeing every 30-45 mintues!

Awesome news! I love big babies! My DD was 9lbs 1oz and although the pushing wasn't fun, her little rolls were adorable! I actually hope for this one to be around the same size...they seem sturdier! lol

Our LO has been measuring slightly small, I have my fingers crossed that she'll make it to 6lbs, if I get to 40 weeks she should be almost 7. I go back next week to check on her progress. I agree 8lbs soudns like a good sturdy baby.
