Hi I am currently in the 2ww after my second IVF...I have a questions for you ladies. How many of you tested positive on a home pregnancy test and how long was that before you went in for bloodwork. I took a test this am 12days after my trigger and 5 days before I go in for bloodwork there is a very very faint line not getting excited though. Just wondering what your experiences were.
Re: Question for those who did IVF
IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010
March 2015- Chemical pg
1/25/16- BFP Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16
Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!
I tested positive at 8 days past my 3 day transfer (13 days past trigger). My beta wasn't until 13 days past my transfer (18 days past trigger).
This sounds very promising! Congrats on your positive and good luck on your beta!

A line's a line my dear.
You're KU'd!!!
CONGRATS!!!!
I always POAS and refuse the beta if it's negative. I just don't see the point.
With a positive pee stick my RE got me in for beta the same day but since then they've stopped doing that and make people wait for their scheduled beta day.
You may want to call and update them on your POAS discovery!
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
You have to wait 17 days? I think for my first 4 IVF's, I got my beta around day 12 or so. For my last, my beta was on day 9, I think.
Anyhow- I always tested the day before my beta. I needed to be ready and prepared if it were negative.

I agree that faint line sounds really promising! I tested from 10dp3dt and results were negative until 13dp3dt. I went in for beta the following day.
GL!!
I did IUIs but you sound like you are KUd!!! YAY!
a line is a line no matter how faint. I tested 10dp3dt I think. I had a faint line. I knew I was pregnant. I had a faint line with my 3rd pregnancy. Your body does not make the HCG if its not pregnant. congrats!

I think congrats are in order! A line is a line!
I tested 6dp3dt and got a very light positive. I tested a few more days in a row, and on 9dp3dt I called the RE office and asked if I could get my beta moved up to 11dp3dt because of the positives I was geting. I think you should call and see if you can get your beta moved up.
I (somehow) held out and did not test at home until the night before my beta. It was 11dp3dt. It was a BFP! I had a beta of 216 the next day!
At 12 days your trigger should be gone so it sounds promising!! Good luck!!!
IVF #1 = BFP!! So blessed to have our baby boy! IVF #2 = Convert to frozen - 1 frostie! IVF #3 = Convert to frozen - 1 frostie! FET #1 = 8/14, Two transferred, One stuck! Praying for another healthy miracle! Due: 5/2/13
I got a faint line at 7dp3dt and that same night got a positive on a digital. I had tested out my trigger so I was certain that wasn't it.
Hoping for the best for you!

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
I tested on an internet cheapie in the middle of the day at 6dp5dt and got a super-faint whisper of a line. It was slightly darker the next day, but still faint. I tested with a FRER on 9dp5dt after getting frustrated with the super light lines and it was light, but clearly a BFP. My beta was taken on 10dp5dt and was 139.
Good luck!
This cycle was the first (of 3) that I ever POAS before beta test. I did it 12dp trigger, like you. If you think it's positive, call your office and see if they will move your test early. Mine did and it aleviated a lot of stress.
Good luck!

I tested out my trigger, so I knew my trigger was out the day of my transfer...
