What are some ideas for lunches I can send to daycare for DD? Nothing can be heated and it won't be kept in a fridge (but I can put an ice pack in her lunch bag).
I've been sending a Jammy Sammy and a fruit cup but I need more ideas. TIA!
ETA: I love those website that were posted but I feel like that stuff is for an older than 11-12 months kid.
Re: s/o 11-12 month old lunches for daycare
J is only 10 months old but is on table foods. However he is still at the point of having things in VERY small pieces. I think he will still be at 11-12 months as well if I remember correctly. So while things like turkey roll-ups are great he is not there yet.
He goes to a sitter once a week. She serves the older kids food and if it is suitabe for J she will feed him that but I also usually send something as well. Right now my fave thing to send is thin sliced lunch meat (the sitter can easily chop it into tiny pieces), shreded cheese, I also buy bags of frozen HEB steamable veggies. I pop it in the microwave in the morning and part of it into a container to take to the sitter. She does have a fridge but even if she did not the veggies would be fine for a few hours. I have also sent plain pasta and fruit cut into tiny pieces.
