What pp said...egg salad, tuna salad, etc. I also had a loaf of bread and peanut butter on top of my mini fridge with jelly in the fridge. I kept paper towel/plates and silverwear right there as well. I also kept extra water and beverages in there so I didn't have to get up as much.
If you're allowed to get up at all have a lot of left overs in the fridge or microwave meals.
I would definitely have plenty of snacks-- fruit and cut-up veggies and stuff so that you don't get too hungry. Maybe some cheese or string cheese? You want healthy stuff. Having peanut butter around is great, it is high protein and will be filling.
I also like the idea of having chicken salad for sandwiches, stuff like that. And lots and lots of drinks, I am always thirsty!
