I just bought these for DD's birthday party in May. They are SO cute! We are doing a "Harper and the Purple Crayon" theme. She will make them any color you want.
I may or may not have accidentally forgotten my candle favor at my friend's wedding shower. I need another candle like I need a hole in my head (no offense, rosie!).

I don't need any more stuff or some cutesy momento that will be thrown away or tucked in a box never to be seen again.
Says the girl who spent WEEKS making cutesy momento wedding favors for her wedding -- of which 80% were left at the venue. I may or may not have cried and cursed about that.

Something that can be eaten.

We are doing some of the M&Ms for Rhett's birthday party favors. I got the small (3x4) clear plastic bags at Hobby Lobby. I am going to fill them with the Disney M&Ms. It only takes an ounce to put enough in it to make it look good since the bags are fairly small. Kristen is going to print off little cardstock toppers for the bags with a design and a little message from Rhett. I think they are going to be really cute. They are in my head anyway! The M&Ms aren't cheap, but in all it works out to $2/kid, which I would have spent on throwaway crap. But instead I have a personalized favor! Credit to missjenn for coming up with the really cute idea for me.
Oh, here is a promo code for a free bag of the personalized m&ms if you buy two. CMC4952725
eta: I was going to tell you, if this is local I can do some really awesome homemade butter mints for you (for the shower, not favors). You definitely don't want to try to fly with them though!

Um, I was totally thinking kid birthday party favors, but a lot of people have jumped on the wedding favor idea... maybe I'm wrong, but I totally thought you were married already!
SO, maybe some clarification on the event for the favors???
I am the MOH for my friend, Sarah. The wedding is coming up REALLY fast (engaged in January, wedding first weekend of June), so I am trying ot get on the ball w/ planning her shower.

My favorite wedding type favors are the personlized M&Ms. https://www.mymms.com/
You can actually get a picture of the couple on the M&M's!! AND, you can make them all blue. So cute!
Definitely something edible.
