This is a good question. I'm wondering this too. Kennedy has a sippy cup with her lunch and dinner but doesn't drink a lot from it. She has bottles of pumped milk the rest of the day.

Jaxon takes a cup really well, and I'm afraid if I don't switch now while he is "willing", that he will become too attached to the bottle and refuse the cup.
Allie always drank from sippy's during the day, and with meals, but she didn't drink as much from them as she did from the bottles, so we continued with the morning and night bottles.
At her 1 year check-up she was underweight, so our pedi told us to continue with the morning and night bottles (with just whole milk) for awhile...so we are still doing those. She loves her sippy, but she just doesn't chug them down like bottles. I plan on taking her next week just to be weighed and hopefully we can cut those bottles soon.
Allie ~ 01/26/09 ~ 7 lbs, 9 oz ~ 20.75 in.
& Amelia ~ 03/16/11 ~ 8 lbs, 1 oz ~ 21 in.

we started the transition around 9/10 months - by 11 months she was only taking sippy cups or nursing. I quit nursing at 14 months.
