LOVE our Newport - it still looks brand new and DD sleeps great in the crib! We have the tall dresser and it is still in great shape to. Although after only a year, I woudl hope so
And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
One of my friends has used her munire nursery funiture for 2 children and is now converting it into a regular bed for her guest room. It is still in awesome shape and she raves about it. We're placing an order for the urban collection by munire tomorrow
We love our Newport set in cherry. It has been great for two years, and we will be converting it soon. My only caution about the dark finishes is that they show teeth marks The outside/front of our soon to be foot board has scrapes where DS apparently tried to climb out of the crib with his teeth. OMG.

We are ordering the urban as well. Looked great in the store and seems very sturdy.

We bought the Urban collection before my DD was born and we still love it, 2 years later. It's held up well. My DD chewed the hell out of one side of her crib before I was able to get a cover/pad and Munire sent me the espresso stain. I just did a light sanding and restained and it looks perfect.

We have newport in espresso- 2 cribs, low dresser & tall dresser. I do like it for the most part but have been disappointed w/ the finish- the edge of the long side of both cribs has finish rubbing off, the only thing I can think of is from us leaning over the edge (maybe my husband's belt has rubbed it but I'm short so it hits me in the ribs if I lean over). They did send me a bottle of touch up finish for free though so that will help.
Other things I didn't think about when looking: the drawers & especiallyt the door on the dressers slam shut pretty loudly if you're not careful & I have visions of little fingers getting caught one day; the corners of the newport are pointy, I wish I'd thought about rounded corners b/c when they are toddlers the footboard side of the crib & corner of the dresser are going to be right at their heads; I can't use mobiles & crib soothers in the regular way b/c the long side of the crib is too wide for them to attach (I tried several different mobiles and the crib soother straps are just too short) so I had to put the mobiles on the short side, which is curved so they sit crooked. It's not really that big a deal, although they have to be way up at that end of the crib to see the mobile, but something I never really thought about when buying it.

ohhh I never thought of calling them. DS has also chewed the sides of his crib.
We have the Urban and it is very sturdy and beautiful. I love the look of it. BRU sells Munire furniture under the name Baby Cache at a cheaper price. Same quality furniture.
Re: Munire Furniture- Like it or Leave it?
We just got ours a few weeks ago - Newport collection - and have been very happy with it.
