Numbing feeling in left arm...

in 3rd Trimester

All morning my left arm has this numb feeling to it.  I wonder if it has anything to do with a nerve the baby might be laying on.  A few times I have gotten the same pain/numbing in my left hip and have hard time take steps.  I have a doc appt today and plan on asking, but wonder if i should call now.

    I have been getting this in my left arm too, although usually when I'm sleeping @ night.  For me I think it has more to do w/ the position of my arm, but I'm a little concerned too.

    ummmm...that's not good. Anytime I hear of a woman complaining of numbness in the left arm specifically I think of the symptoms of a heart attack that are specific to us (women). A friend of mine had this same symptom and didn't know she was having a heart attack...at only 44 yrs old! She didn't go to the hospital until the next morning, when she could barely get out of bed. Now, chances are this is pregnancy related, I really don't want to scare anyone unnecessarily, but I would call your doc and explain this right away just to see if she can maybe ask you some other questions to see if it's something to be checked out right away or can wait until your doctor's appt.
