Round ligament pain?

Hello Mommas!  I thought I saw a post a day or so ago on round ligament pain but now I can't find it so I will ask again.  Is round ligament pain something that we can experience in the third trimester?  I had this pain in the second trimester but I was not sure if it was something that could stick around or come back in the third trimester.  It feels just like it did in the second trimester but I wanted to get opinions to make sure it was not something else that I might be experiencing.  I have no bleeding and no discharge.  Thanks very much for your help!

    Your belly and therefore the muscles and ligaments are still stretching, so to me it makes sense that you could continue to experience RLP from it.

    Yep. I had RLP my entire 3rd Tri. After I delivered my ligaments were actually more sore than anything else, but the pain went away in a day or two.

    But, (as always), if you're concerned, you can always call your OB Smile

    I never had RLP until about two weeks ago, so yes it's possible in the 3rd tri.

    I have had round ligament pain since about week 22.  It's mainly on the left side, but now starting to be all over.  I recently slipped and it's now much much worse - I'm having trouble walking at all today.

    I would say yes, you can have RL pain in the 3rd Tri.

    My doctor also said it was due to holding the weight of baby.  I bring it up every appt and they say it's fine

    I've had it pretty much constantly since the early 20's weeks - some days are worse than others, it depends how much I move around and how much time I spend on my feet, but it's definitely here in the third trimester!
