the WORST temper tantrum ever and its not even 8am!

I cant deal with this any more!  I want a sleepcation!  All because M thinks she's royalty and I am to be at her beck and call doing EVERYTHING for her.  She wants her sippy & its sitting on the table 3 feet from her.  And because I wont get it for her she threw a tantrum.

The killer part is that after she is done kicking & screaming and throwing stuff she curls up next to me and says in her sweetest voice "I love you Mommy"

Ok I'm off to pour myself another cup of coffee...if dh wants more coffee he's just gonna have to brew it himself.

    Ugh, dude, I hear ya.  That is how yesterday morning went for me.  David screamed bloody murder because he dropped a cheerio on the floor.  One cheerio.  He was on the floor kicking and screaming because he didn't want to pick it up after I asked him.  Trying to stay calm, I went over and picked it up for him and threw it in the trash.  Well, apparently, that was the absolute worst thing I could have done ever.  He hugged the trash can screaming and crying and yelling at me to put it back.  This went on for literally 30 minutes.  Fun times.

    Good luck today. (fwiw, by 10am he was bopping around happy - getting outside helped)

    you just decribed M to a T lol  And yes going outside does help but my yard is very wet & muddy.

    The funny thing is that I do NOT remember it being this bad with my older kids!

    I'm with you this morning....not a tantrum, but an out and out refusal to do anything.  It's picture day at preschool and he isn't getting dressed...we have to leave soon, so he'll go in his PJ's I guess.  He just tunes me out when it isn't what he wants to hear.
