Birth Control and Breastfeeding

I started taking birth control again about a month ago, as soon as my doc would prescribe it!! I spotted a little that first week and now when I am supposed to have my period I have nothing. Anyone else experience this?

    Completely normal according to my OB. I switched from the mini pill to a Mirena IUD so I don't have personal experience.

    I'm taking the minipill as well. I haven't had any spotting or any period. I've heard that the spotting is normal, though.

    Thank you!  I could have just called my OB but I was terrified he would say, well you could be pregnant.  So thought I would try here first!!

    If you are breastfeeding you likely won't have a period before at least 6 months but maybe up until you stop.  The mini pill won't stop your period.
