When did you feel "old?"

For some reason, I'm having a hard time turning 33 tomorrow. It just seems so much OLDER than 32, like total midlife crisis/"Thirtysomething" time period.

Thankfully, I don't think I LOOK 33, but it's starting to get to the point where I don't want to tell people my age when then ask because it sounds OLD. Blah.

I don't generally feel old unless I have to tell someone my age (which I seriously have to think about first because I can never remember how old I am any more- wait, maybe I AM old!).

33 is young.

I turned 37 in October. ?It's so close to 40. ?This has been the hardest oldest piece of crap year yet.

My 30th birthday was pretty rough for me. Until the whole surprise party thing M did for me.

I started feeling it again on NYE when I realized another year had gone by.

I feel old everyday when I see new pharmacy and med students (who just so happen to be hot). I keep getting older, they just stay the same age.

35. i turned 35 last June. I had a toddler and a 12 week old. I hated turning 35. Maybe 36 will be better.

It's true. I am. I don't feel 37, but I was born in 1972, so if you do the math you'll see for yourself. I turn 38 in June. Holy crap.

When I had my 2nd child. I felt like I was just pretending to be an adult before my first child. I couldn't believe I was a homeowner and taught people's children in a school when I really felt 12 myself. I wasn't irresponsible, either, just felt (and looked) young. I had DD at 29, finally felt like an adult, had DS at almost 31 and immediately felt old! I look way older and feel like my body is old, my interests are relaxing, reading and getting some peace.

Proof that I am old: I went to visit my grandma's neighbor in a nursing facility. I was slightly jealous that she had her own quiet space, grabber stick to get stuff and her own TV. She can go play BINGO if she likes, or just stay in.

when I could not be out late and feel normal the next day...... and that happened like 6-7 years ago, before I even had kids...

I'll be 33 next month, but this year I've felt old a lot. I teach 12th grade, and on a library card app for one of my students, I noticed her mom was 5 months younger than me! Granted she was only 15 when she had her, the idea that I could be her mother freaked me out! I also feel old when I see all the teenagers rockin' the "80's" styles & I think to myself that what they're wearing isn't even close to how it really was.

old chick, that stays up late still, felt old at 33 too. 33 was moving away from the early 30s or still close to 20s mindset. But i didn't feel that way (old) again until 39. and 40 wasn't so bad. and well 41, i don't know. when you turn 41, you kind of just don't give a sh*t anymore. see? i've gone and turned old and crabby. but it's fun once you accept it. i really like my age now. all this new found confidence when my b**bs are no longer perky, life is soo not fair.

I get waves of it.

Like last week when watching lost and Jack and his son were on screen. I sooo would have fancied his son when I was younger but I realised that I have to like the "old" guy Jack. Sometimes I feel like I'm a teen....and others I feel like I'm in my 30's.

I've never really felt old yet.

I thought I might at 40, but when that came around, I was going to have a baby in a couple of months and wasn't dwelling on my age. 41 came, and I still had an infant, and again, wasn't wallowing.

I'm more TIRED at my age with small kids, but OLD? I kinda don't waste time worrying about a number.

31 hit me hard physically. I still don't feel 'old' mentally or anything but physically I feel like I aged a decade going from 30-31. I need to get back to a gym.
