Allie just started over a week ago. She does it sporadically now, not all the time. Sometimes I test her by putting something intriguing across the floor just to see if she still remembers. Babies that do not like tummy time may take longer to crawl (or, they may skip it altogether). Allie never liked tummy time but she definitely got bored with just sitting up.
Bryce is just starting to rock back and forth when he is on his hands and knees. Today he went from all fours to a sitting position. I couldn't believe it!
All crawl at their own time though.. I have a friend who's DS didn't crawl until 9,5 months.
DS started around 5 1/2-6 months... mind you it's not full blown fast crawling all over the house but he moves on all fours from one end of the room to another... a couple feet at a time.
DS has been scooting/army crawling since around 6 months. He's been rocking on all 4s for a month and a half, but no real crawling yet. He has become quite a fast scooter though!

You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."

I didn't crawl until I was one!

A-Train just started crawling forward on his hands and knees last week. He rocked on all fours for a good 2-3 weeks and crawled backwards. It took another week for him to crawl forwards.
L-Dawg army crawls and has been doing that for about 2 weeks but just really mastered it this past week too.
DD bum scooted at around 8 months but she just started crawling around 10 months. She hated tummy time with a passion so it took her a little longer to crawl.

DS isn't crawling but is possibly showing very very early signs of it (lifting butt and leaning forward on knees). I saw a little boy just shy of 7 mos at story time who was crawling! I can't imagine DS would be doing that in a few weeks, I'm not ready. I don't actually think he'll be crawling that soon, it will most likely be a few months at least.
Not yet, but I sure as hell hope he figures it out soon because it is making him SO.MAD. that he can't do it. And he's not content to just sit and play anymore, he wants to crawl so badly. And then he gets stuck and gets angry. He's so close!!

LO is so similar to this! about 2 week ago he started rocking on all 4's and then about a week ago he started army crawling (as long as the TV remote is there to entice him) but no actual "crawling" yet. I want him to figure it out too, he has been SO quick to fuss these past 2 weeks and I think it is that he is super frustrated to not have it down!
