reccomend your baby items?
Like, if you love your stroller, tell us what stroller that is and why you love it.
I have no idea what to register/buy as far as furniture, baby gear, toys, bottles, etc, etc, etc.....
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to join you!!
Re: Could you please
I love my BOB Revolution stroller and the snap-n-go. the Bob is great because we can take it on trails, the grass, sand, anywhere. I can use it for jogging by flipping a switch and locking the front wheel or I can use it in a store with the front wheel swiveling. It really fits our lifestyle. The snap-n-go is convenient because it's small, lightweight, and really easy to use.
Oh, I would also recommend some sort of baby carrier like a sling or the bjorn or a moby wrap....it's really nice to have your hands free and most babies I know love the movement.

We have the Graco snap n go stroller and I'm so glad we bought it. We got so much use out of it early on and it's so light and easy to use. We've started putting her in our other stroller recently so she can sit up and face forward and I definitely miss the ease of the SnG. Other things I couldn't live without...
*Boppy - we've used it for everything -- nursing, propping baby up for naps (under constant supervision), behind her now that she's sitting, etc.
* Like PP said, Homedics SoundSpa Lullaby white noise machine.
* not a specific brand or anything -- but you'll need tons of burp cloths!
See you over here soon!
Thanks ladies,
This is very helpful!
Ditto and the miracle blanket!
LOVE the Moby wrap and my Ergo Carrier - I also couldn't live without my Co-Sleeper or Boppy
can't wait til you are over here!
We have the boppy brand bouncy seat and loooove it. It has been a total lifesaver to have! However I think any of the bouncy chairs that are papasan style will have the same effect. I think it makes her feel secure.
We also got the snap n go and LOVE it.

I haven't read any of the other posts, so sorry if this is repetetive!
We use Dr. Brown's bottles and LOVE them. We started out with the Medela bottles that came with my pump and we noticed a huge positive difference in DS' tummy problems when we switched to Dr. Brown's.
PNP with a changing table has been really nice - we have a changing table upstairs on LO's dresser, so we have set up the PNP downstairs and use the changing table on that. It's really handy to have 2 changing stations.
Swing that plugs in. DS sleeps in his (still, I know
) and before he got sick 2 weeks ago, he was STTN in it. My parents have a battery-only swing, and DS has slept overnight there twice and the batteries always run out in the middle of the night, even when they were brand new. Hopefully your child will sleep in a crib and you won't need this!
Bouncy Seat - just a regular Fisher Price one that was around $30. DS loves the toys that hang from it.
Just a tip that's not really related to your post, don't get Gerber clothes. They run really small and shrink a lot when you wash them. DS always grows out of them insanely fast and it's not even worth the money to buy them. Carters are way better!
Dr. Browns Bottles
2 convertible car seats
Travel sytem with 2 car seat bases
Bobby
Bumbo chair
Plug in Swing
PNP
Bassinet
Burp clothes
socks
I agree about gerber too!
OMG Luvs!!! Where does the time go!
Boppy - must have
Baby Bjorn - must have
I have the Graco Snugride car seat and it snaps in and out of the stroller frame - love it, it's super easy.
My Little Lamb swing and LOTS of D batteries

Other baby carriers - Maya Ring Sling (good for newborns) and the Moby, which is versatile for many ages...
This is silly but our LO LOVESSSSSSS her contour changing pad. Seriously it's magical. Less than $20 bucks. It is her happy place.
Bottles - I use the Medela ones b/c I pump into them and it's just easier. We registered for Dr. Brown's and I've heard awesome things but we don't use them now b/c the Medela ones eliminate the need to pour into another bottle.
Good luck! Can't wait to see you over here!!!!

Hey Luvs! I can't wait for you to join us. My favorite/must haves are:
Boppy - I tried to BF and it helped me do that and once that failed, the boppy has been wonderful for sitting up the baby, propping up the baby, doing tummy time, etc. We love it! DH loves it even more than me for helping him hold our heavy little boy.
Born Free Bottles - seriously these are the best bottles ever. Dr. Brown have more parts and Avent leak. These take away all the gas and are super easy to use. I've never met someone with these that doesn't rave.
Dr. Brown Formula Pitcher - we bought this recently and love it. It makes 32oz of formula at once and stirs the formula so there aren't bubbles. Obviously this is only necessary if you're using formula.
Fisherprice Starlight Cradle Swing - get a swing that is cradle-like. DS slept in his for the first 6w. He still takes naps in it. It's so soft and comfy and supportive. I think it simulates me holding him close. Oh, and the swing plugs in so that's a must.
Fisherprice Rainforest Bouncy - we love it. Dylan likes to watch the electronics on the top and stares at the swinging monkey.
Burp Clothes - get some pre-folded diapers for this. They are soft, big, absorbent, and cheap. Love them.
Swaddle Blankets - Aden and Anais swaddle blankets from target - they are thin, stretchy, and wonderful. We use them for everything under the sun.
Other than that, the basics like footed sleepers, soft towels/washcloths, etc. I was surprised at how little we actually needed at first. Also, you'll like things other people hate and hate things other people like. So trust your gut and go with what you think looks nice. There are lots of great products out there. And congrats!
