How much more is your organic milk?

There was talk last week about organic milk and it got me thinking, but the organic milk was twice the price of regular milk at our store.  It made me rethink if it really made a difference (we drink a LOT of milk!  LOL).

    It's about double the cost. We pay for the organic.

    We pay $4 for a half gallon of organic milk. I have know clue what regular milk costs now.

    I pay $5.99 for a gallon of organic- no idea what non-organic costs.

    I don't have any idea what non organic milk costs- I never considered it!

    I pay between 5 and 7 a gallon for milk, depending on the store. at King Soopers (lol) its 6.99 and at Target it is usually 4-5.99.

    or maybe at safeway its 6.99...

    I can't remember.

    It's at least $6 for a gallon of organic milk.  Non-organic is usually between $1.90-$2.50.

    almost 3x as much. $4.50/gallon, vs $12.00 per gallon.

    (ETA: I live in Canada so the regular milk is hormone free)

    It's at least double. DD and I don't drink a lot of milk, so I figure we'll survive with the extra hormones. DH is the big milk drinker in our house. He can fend for himself.
