Here is a link to show the cribs for the twins. I bought mobiles but they won't fit b/c it is too thick. Did anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you fix it? Any othere ideas instead of a mobile would be appreciated too! Thanks!
I believe different crib mobiles have different attachments. Some clip onto the top and are sometimes too small for the crib and others attach in between the crib poles. You may have to return the mobile you have and buy the one that attaches differently.
I opened every mobile in BRU to try to find one that would work with my crib bc of the same exact problem (I couldn't use crib soothers either for the same reason).
My mobiles are on the short side, but my short side is not quite as slanty as yours appears to be in the photo. So they are on kinda crooked & they have to have their head up at that end but it works ok. The crib soothers did not work though, since it would either be above their heads or way down at the end where they can't really see unless they're partially turned.
Not sure if you're still checking this, but we have similar cribs and the same problem.
We wound up returning the mobile that coordinates with our bedding and my DH bought a Fisher Price Precious Planets Projection mobile from Target that attaches with adjustable straps. The mobile is strapped on the front of the crib.

I ordered 2 of these and plan to hang them with fishing line from the cieling over the cribs:

GL. I was frustrated with it as well.
