clogged duct?

Those of you who have had issues with this, what does it feel like?  I found a lump yesterday, and am having it looked at tomorrow, but someone suggested it could be a clogged duct.  However, I haven't breastfed/pumped in almost 4 months?  Could I have a clogged duct now?  It's close to the skin, by my bra line, so it gets irritated by my bras (I stopped wearing the underwires yesterday too).

    it seems unlikely it's still a clogged duct 4 mos after you stopped BFing! Mine all happened when I was BFing (but I only stopped 3mo ago).

    f/u:

    The dr said it looks like an abcess (sp?).. so I'm on antibiotics and have to make an appt with the surgeon if it doesn't get better with the antibiotics.
