ME! Only recommended that I have a repeat c-section, however, only b/c I'm having twins. My incision ached a little for the first month or so, but not at all now. GL!! Congrats!!
I was! Everything went perfectly for me, and I even had a VBAC. My OB actually said that the latest research shows that your incision will be as healed as it is going to get within weeks - much sooner than was previously thought.
The only issue I had was a lot of painful cramping starting at about 20w. I was told it was the scar tissue stretching and separating. Not sure if it had anything to do with the spacing, but it kinda sucked.
My dr had originally told me to wait at LEAST 6 months, but little miracles/surprises happen don't they? :-) The Dr said pregnancy before would be at risk for uterine rupture. So that has me concerned. Cramping stinks! I am not looking forward to the possible cramping and stretching of scar tissue. Ouch!
I had 20 months between c-sections and I had a near-rupture even with a planned repeat c-section, so I don't know how much time really helps or hurts you as far as VBACs go, I just know that I am glad that I did not try for one!
