Went to the RE this morning 13 days post IUI because I had 3 positive HPT. The good news is that my beta is 152 and progesterone is 24. I am not on any progesterone supps or injections. I wish I could be over the moon - we didnt expect this to work. I am 40 and we used frozen sperm - puts the success rate around 10-15%ish. This was a hail mary attempt because we cant afford to do another IVF. IUI is covered by my insurance but IVF isnt.
The bad news - started spotting 10 days post IUI, increased to a light AF (red and brown) for the last 3 days. I have been bleeding for the last 4 days, it is very similar to period like bleeding. A little lighter, but similar.
Nurse has assured me that some women have this and everything works out BUT I had a similar pattern with my IVF BFP that resulted in a M/C.
Re: positive beta :) but light bleeding :(
Congratulations! That's wonderful! I will hope for all the best for you.
I hope your bleeding stops and you have a great 2nd beta!

Congratulations! and yes, this helps a lot!
I guess that is possible. I had 2 - 3 follicles at trigger. It is too early to tell anything - since I am only 13 days post IUI. Im not even technically 4 weeks preg.
stay positive... i have had several friends that have had the same bleeding, but each has healthy happy babies.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
