37 week appointment...

and NO progress! I knew I was having an internal exam done but I was SO not expecting my OB to get to 3rd base with me! Indifferent I think I even let out a loud OMG at one point! I haven't bled as a result but I've been feeling a little crampy. She says that eventhough the baby is measuring a little large(which can be off by as much as 2 lbs.) that my pelvis seems to be open enough to handle it..Oh, I'm also GBS positive but she wasn't even concerned enough to call and tell me...she mentioned it and just said that I eventhough it'll be in my chart that I should make sure L&D knows when I get to the hospital so that I can start the antibiotics.

We also took maternity pix on Sunday but DH is still "editing" themConfused...I'll post some of them wheneven he decides to finish.

    Well, boo for no progress - but lots of people progress quickly, so no worries there.  As for the 3rd base comment - you almost made me spit my oatmeal all over my computer!  Can't wait to see your maternity pics too!

    I have my 36 week today so I'll have my growth u/s and an internal, can't wait to hear what they say....

    don't even worry about the progress. baby will make progress when he is ready to. it's alright! every body is different, and progress happens at different times for everyone. so it's ok.

    Don't worry about progress.  I had SOME progress at all of my last appointments and where did it leave me?  Failed induction at 41.5 weeks! I was also GBS+ and it was absolutely fine.  You just get the antibiotics.  But my OB was super casual about it, too and it honestly freaked me out.  I can't wait to see the pics!

    If you have no progress you could still give birth soon...

    I was 3cm for 3 weeks. It sucked hardcore. Best of luck!

    Too bad you haven't had any progress yet, but yay for maternity pictures!  I can't wait to see them. :)

    I agree with Amy..no progress ended with a failed induction here as well...and like Tiffany said progress happens when the baby is ready and every body is different...no worries :) 

    I am sorry but I kinda laughed out loud at the third base comment as well...I hated internals with a passion!!  When I went for my annual in January my doc was warning me before the pap and I said heck after the internals of pregnancy pap's are a piece of cake Wink

    Can't wait to see the maternity pictures!
