Oh! His head is so low!

This is what my doc said today.  I am only one cm dilated but she said his head is super low.  My question is this, is it possible for them to run out of room in there?  The top of my belly is very clearly his butt and my stomach for the last week has been ROCK HARD, I'm wondering if his head is so low because there is nowhere else for him to go now?  Does that mean he is going to come soon?  My stomach being this hard all the time is getting really painful...

    I hope someone responds with some good news because I'm right there with you. Same situation except minus the dilation. I think I just lost my MP though...fingers crossed!

    Ugh I've been hearing the "WHOA he's low!" comment for 2 weeks of appointments now... I'm 3+cms dilated, and I feel like this kid is so low that when he punches I'm half convinced if I could bend over I'd see a little fist sticking out :| Uuugh the pressure is unfriggin'real.

    I wish I could say it means something, maybe a potentially 'faster than not' labor, but not necessarily that he/she will be here any sooner :

    Dang!  The pressure is INSANE!!  I totally feel like he is going to "fall out" at any moment!
