I had the best luck with real swaddle blankets vs swaddle me and the other one. The ones I had you can get at Babiesrus.com I forget what they are called but they are organic cotton.
I know most babies enjoy being swaddled, but I wouldn't invest in a lot of these just yet. Our LO hates being swaddled, I have a few Swaddle Me's that I got and haven't had sucess with them yet . . . you may want to feel your baby out first.

Ditto this! We did buy a miracle blanket. It worked for ~2 weeks, and then he was done with it. He figured out how to get himself out of that thing (no clue on how, but he did), and we stopped swaddling him. He just slept in footed PJs and he was fine. He also hated the sleep sacks. While I would reco the miracle blanket, don't buy multiple until you know it'll work... and keep in mind that at 4-6 mos, they'll be done with swaddling altogether.
The only ones we had great luck with were the SwaddleMe with the velco (which we got at BabiesRUS, specifically the fleece ones. We even used them in the summer b/c they worked so much better than the cotton ones and we would just put DD in a diaper sometimes so she wouldn't get too hot. I used the swaddle with her until 10 months old!....it was a life saver!!! I would highly recommend watching "Happiest Baby on the Block" book or video which has a demo of a great technique!
Re: swaddle blanket
We swear by these! In fact, I just swaddled him tonite- at almost 6 months, it helped calm him down- for 5 minutes lol.

We bought a miracle blanket and loved it. DD used it until she was 7 months old!

Ditto this. It's worth its price in gold, I swear! DD loved the swaddle but this was the only one she couldn't break out of.

Ditto trickeytricky and kel716 - don't invest too much into the swaddle blankets. Some babies don't like to be swaddled.
The ones that have worked the best so far for us were the blankets we got from the hospital. They're big enough and work great for DS so far.
DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.
We liked using receiving blankets best too until DS got too big for them and we had to move to the SwaddleMe with the velcro.
The biggest swaddling receiving blanket I've seen is 43" by 43" -- at Babies R Us right next to the SwaddleMe blanket and made by the same people.
