ISO a seamstress to make a Christening Gown

Good Morning

I have searched google, and am not coming up with any results, really. I have both my Mom's and my Nana's Wedding Gowns and would love to have one made into a Christening Gown.

I am searching for a seamstress who is able to do this on either the South Shore or Boston area. Can anyone suggest one?

TIA

  • I know that Rosa in Braintree made a MOB dress for my friend's mom ( I have used Rosa for regular tailoring & always been very happy).  She is right off Grove St (across from the Stop & Shop).  GL.

  • My wedding seamstress turned my gown into my baby's baptism outfit. It was so thrilled! I still the other half of the dress for the next baby:-)

you could contact me at my email natacha_maignan@hotmail.com if you would like her info.

  • You should try Virginia's Custom Bridal in Danvers.  She does an unbelievable job making christening gowns from wedding gowns.  She just made my daughter's christening gown from my wedding dress.  It turned out absolutely beautiful! Her website is www.gownsbyginny.com.
