My (huge) bottle of prenatal vitamins is just about gone and I cannot remember where I got them. However, I'm wondering if I shouldn't start one with extra folic acid. What kind do you all use? OTC or Rx?
I'm currently using the Nature Made with DHA, but after the post on PgAL about DHA, I'm probably going to switch.
Babywearing, cloth diapering, formula and breastmilk feeding, still can't believe I'm a mom, momma to my little man, two furbabies, and two angel babies.

What did the post say?
My OB said that DHA isn't necessary while you're just TTC, which I didn't know (and thought I was dropping the ball on that one). I take the Whole Foods brand ones.
There are tickers and pictures since this is from PgAL just to warn everyone.

I use a brand from Whole Foods, I can't remember the name but I'll come back later and add it. They're in a white bottle with a light blue label background... anyway they're 100% vegan and I like them, I've had no problems with nausea whatsoever.
Rx Neevo DHA - it's designed for "high risk" pregnancies or women who can't metabolize folic acid. My dr put me on it after my first loss. I have no idea if it's really better than anything else.
I take the Target Brand (Up and Up). I like them and my doctor said they are fine. She also mentioned if I wanted to, I could take 2 Flintstone vitamins and that would be just as good as the PNV.
I was on Duet DHA and liked it a lot. It just got recategorized on my insurance, though, and was going to be $35, so I switched to something called Natalcare Plus (Rx, but free through Meijer (the Midwest-only version of Target, for those unfamiliar)) and Expecta DHA. Expecta is from a plant source, rather than fish, so I recommend it for anyone who is concerned about the mercury or PCB levels.

I'm taking the Whole foods brand. I like it. I haven't had any problems and I'm on my second bottle.
