  I'm babysitting today...2 babies (under 2 years old).  I'm getting $75 bucks for 8 hours.

  $12 for 2 hours? or $12/hr? When we only had DD we generally paid $10/hr. Now with both kids we usually pay around $15/hr.

  We pay $8-10 an hour for DS and that is considered cheap for our area.

  Going rate around here is $10/hour.  I've paid as much as $15/hour when I needed someone for a weekday and had to call a nanny service.

  I pay $13-$15/hour to our babysitter. She's in her mid-twenties and a teacher, though, so it's not like she's a high schooler, you know?

  We pay our 14 yr old babysitter $7 an hour for two kids.
