When your RE released you to your OB/GYN, how many weeks were you when you went in for your first regular OB appointment? And after that, how often would you go in for an u/s?
Released from RE at 8 weeks and first appt with the OB at 9 weeks. We requested an NT so I had that u/s at 12 weeks. I didn't have another until our big u/s at 19 weeks. At that point we started seeing the MFM and had them every 3 weeks.

I was IUI, but I was released from RE at 8 weeks and saw OB at 10 weeks then MFM at 12 weeks for NT scan. I have had u/s at all MFM appts and all but like 2 OB appts. At least once a month for the first tri, 2x a month in the second tri and now once a week in the third tri. I am sure my insurance co is loving me.

Thanks everyone. I'm having an issue getting into a new OB/GYN anytime soon, so I need to figure out whether to go to my old one that I didn't like, or continue to see my RE in the meantime.

Can your RE get you in? I didnt' want to go back to my old OBGYN so my RE got me an appt with an OB that he felt was best suited to twins. She then got me into see the best MFM in town.

I was released at 7w 1d. I got in with my OB at 9w. Given my history of losses, my OB had me come every 2 wks for an u/s at first. My NT scan was my 1st peri appt (at 12w). Right, now I'm on 4 wk schedules with each dr but it works out that I have an appt every 2 wks.

My RE told me I could get regular u/s's with him if my OB didn't see me promptly. is that an option for you?
saw RE early 5w5d due to bleeding - 2 hbs think i saw him one more time a week later and was released. then to OB at 8wks. NT scan (u/s) at 13wks. was going to get into more detail... but for me things just got complicated. i alternated going to peri (u/s) and ob (doppler). i think this depends on how your pg is going.
released from RE at 7 weeks, first OB at 8 weeks. Then 12 for the NT scan, then once a month until 32 weeks, then 34 weeks, then weekly until delivery with visits to the peri every month as well. NSTs at the end every week from 36-38 weeks.
I graduated from the RE at 8 weeks, saw my OB at 9 weeks, and had ultrasounds at 6,8,10 weeks then my NT scan at 13 weeks. My next scheduled u/s is 18 weeks, but I got a bonus one at my last OB appt because she couldn't find the 2nd hb on doppler. I expect to get at least one u/s a month after the big one.
Released from RE at 10 weeks. I was still on PIO shots until week 11 and then was on vaginal progesterone 3x a day until 14 weeks. I saw the ob the same day I was discharged from the RE and every week until 14 weeks.
Released from RE at 8 weeks. First appt. with MFM (who I see due to twins, AMA, and history of hypertension) at 10 weeks. I've not gone longer than 3-4 weeks without an u/s. At this point (35w5d), I'm getting them 2x/week (for BPPs) until my c-section next week.
I was just released this past Friday at 6w2d. Have my first appointment with OB this Friday. Not sure yet how many u/s.
Dx with severe endometriosis. DS#1 conceived with Met and TI. TTC#2 for 2.5 yrs. Dx 2nd IF. 4 clomid cycles, 2 IUIs, Finally IVF#1 w/ICSI worked for us! twins born 35w3d. Unexpected total hysterectomy 6/11. Now on the HRT train.
I was released around 10 weeks and had monthly ultrasounds at the MFM until I was hospitalized at 29 weeks. Then the weekly or bi weekly ultrasounds began!
I saw the RE until 10 weeks, had an appt with my OB at 8 weeks and was referred to MFM begining at 11 weeks for my N/T scan then went back at 13 weeks every week for an ultrasound and check up.
