Zain was due for his 2nd Hep B shot so we had an appt this morning.  Poor thing screamed his head off for the shot.  I don't know how I'm going to handle the 2 month appt because it was so sad to see him so upset :(.  Anyway, he's 8lbs4oz (20th percentile) and 21.5in (50th percentile) and his head was in the 50th too.  On 2/5, he weighed 6lbs3oz (which was only the 8th percentile) so he gained 2lbs in one month.  That makes me happy since I'm EBFing.  It's such a relief to see he's growing since I'm always so worried about if he's getting enough.  The pedi was very happy with his growth but he still looks so skinny to me, I need to keep trying to beef him up a bit :)

    I am glad Zain is growing!!  I just had my 1 mo appt on Thursday, and it was so difficult to see him get the hep B shot...it just broke my heart -- I agree, not sure how to get through the 2 mo. appt, I am thinking I may have to make it a little bit later, so maybe DH can be around to help out. 

    Glad everything is looking good though!!

    FWIW my DD was 20th% at her early appointments but is 90th% now.  I EBF too.  It took a while for her to get the hang of it.  And even then it took a bit more time before she was more awake to reallye at well.  Then she started gaining... and hasn't let up :)

    Hey there!  Glad your little man is growing :)  We had our 1 month a week ago, no shots given though, we have quite a few being done at the 2 month.  Our DS also put on quite a bit since leaving the hospital - he went from 5.6 to 7.4 in 3 weeks and 5 days.  He also grew an inch.  Can't wait for next month's check-up, am hoping he hits 9lbs by then.  I wasnt told his percentile and I didn't ask.. since he was a preemie which such low birth weight... I will ask next time though as I am curious.
