This has been bugging me, and I have to ask: back when we were all guessing Bumblebee's name, I guessed Mabel (Mothers Always Bring Extra Love) a la "Mad About You". You said that I was scary close to guessing or something along those lines.

Here's what has been bugging me: how is Mabel like Vivian??? Big Smile I've been pondering this, and I'm just not seeing the similarity.

    LOL!  I know- after I said "close" I realized that was misleading.  What I meant was that Mabel was my first choice for Bumblebee's name.  (DH's grandmother's name is Mabel.)  In the end DH just wasn't sold on it because he thought it sounded too old ladyish, so we climbed my family tree again and found Vivian instead.

    Mystery solved.  I hope you'll sleep better tonight.  ;)

    Allow me.

    First, you have to remember that mlf isn't too... "sharp", we'll say.

    Second, I think she mean't that it was a name that used to be very popular a while back (like, in our grandparent's time) but isn't widely used anymore.

    I guessed Mabel, also, and she told me that it wasn't Mabel but it was an old fashioned-type name.  And then she told me that her name was Vivian about 8 weeks before she gave birth because I am so special.

    Oh, wait.  No she didn't.  I had to wait like everyone else. :)

    D) TICKER!  LOVE THE TICKER!  I want to kiss it!

    4. I, too, love my ticker.  I particularly love that I chose a brown baby.  Cuz, you know, that baby ain't gonna be pale!
