I don't get the fawning appeal. Yes, she's got cute kids. But so does everybody else. She takes cute pics, but she's not alone. She's clever, but there's a boatload of people here who could hold their own against her in a battle of wits or wittiness.

Basically, what you are left with is someone who will be mean to you if she wants and feels like it on any given day. And I'm not saying that's even a necessarily bad thing, or that there isn't plenty of that to go around here too. Punk never quite reaches fever pitched crazy like BW did. She was very michael scott in her winceability. I'd wince a lot at the bizarre attacks. Remember "ok punk you've asked for it" and I was expecting something really good and it was so so so bad.

I don't particularly see the appeal of either of them. However, I am currently sporting a "support punk" t shirt because If ind her slightly less insane/annoying.

Not to the same degree, but I can see what you're saying. However, I've frequently been known to tell BW she's jumped the tracks when it happens. I've done it in private and out in the open in the middle of a thread. I don't kiss her a$$, but I say "Hey, sweetie, I love you, but you know you're riding the crazy train now, right?" And she's never turned on me like a snake for pointing it out.

awww that is sad lori that you think that. sure, there are people here who i dont like - but thats doesn't go for everyone at all. and my actual e-friends don't mind a good kick in the ass. I've never said BW was the soul of balance, but I've got more than one IRL friend that I could put in that category. And I'm not defending any past BW craziness. Like I said, I tell her when I think she's got her nutty pants on.
