He doesn't hold the bottle either.

Haha. We are the opposite. She won't drink from either one, but she wants to hold it and suck on the tips.

DS knows how to hold it and drink from it (sippy cup). But he usually won't start off on his own. I have to hold it for him to get going, then I say, "Ok you hold it now" and 90% of the time, he'll take over on his own.

He has held and drank from his bottle twice (maybe), but doesn't normally.

Well, he'll hold the sippy cup with handles to chew on it but, that's about it.

DS is the same way. He drinks from his sippy, but I have to hold it for him. If I give the cup to him to hold, he just throws it on the floor.

DD won't touch a sippy cup except to chew on the nipple part. She's just starting to hold the bottle but doesn't understand the concept of tipping it back. So we pretty much do everything for her, too
