Hey there. Yesterday was my first ER, and I'm anxiously awaiting our first fert report. The instructions given said they'll provide one today at 1pm, and then no other until the day before transfer.
How often do you get an update?

We did a 3dt and I got an update each day. I was also super worried so they might have been extra nice to me. I have heard of that before, where they don't update often. Good luck on your fert report! I hope it's great!
I received one call the day after ER and then they called me on the Day 3 transfer (early morning) to let me know how things were going and that we would be doing a 5dt. If I didn't get that call then I was supposed to go in on Day 3.

I got an update the morning after ER and then every morning up to my 4dt. It was unexpected though...I didn't think they would call that many times.

The day after ER, I would always get a call by 10. And then not another update until I got to the transfer. I have only done 3dt's, though... maybe if you have a 5dt you get another call?
I was told at my IVF consult that I would be getting a call every day.

It's better that they check them less often. You want the amount of time they are out of the incubator to be as infrequent as possible.

With IVF #1 I got one every day until my day 5 transfer. With IVF #2 I got one the day after ER and day 3 telling me I would be having a 5dt. I was at different clinics for each cycle and the second clinic didn't like to bother the emryos.
We did a 5dt & I got a report every day, even on day 4 when they typically don't give updates. You should ask why they don't give you day at least day 2 or 3 reports. GL - hope you get an awesome report!
At my first practice, I didn't get any fert reports - I had to call up and beg them to tell me what was going on! My new practice, I get a fert report every day.
