I am going to buy a Graco Snugride for my car, and I will be the primary transport for the baby. My husband will have to pick the baby up on rare instances and he wants a convertible car seat since it will last him longer, vs buying two infant car seats. Normally I would just switch the car seat into his car but we will be in two different locations and will not be able to switch back and forth like that. My question is, what are the best convertible car seats for infants? My LO will be about 4.5 months old when we will need this arrangement. Thanks!
Re: Convertible car seat for infant
You could buy a second base and leave the car seat with baby but at 4.5 mos the baby may be outgrowing the sung ride by then aswell.
Evenflo advanced, graco my ride, first years true fit are all great seats and will last to about 5-6 years old (all expire in 6 years from date made). Cosco Scenera is about $50 so alot less then the other seats and will last to about 3-4 years old then you would get something like a Graco nautilius which will turn in to a booster seat. So those would be the only seats you would need for his car.
