Two heartbeats

at this morning's ultrasound! I am still in shock! I did IVF and transferred two so I shouldn't be so surprised, but I am!

My first question is--what books did you read/are you reading if you are pregnant with twins??

    Congrats! A lot of people recommended  Dr Luke's book when I asked for book recs. It's great:

    Congrats and welcome!! 

    Dr. Luke's book is what my doc's office gave me right after our 1st twin u/s.  The only part that I didn't really take to heart was the very strict food guidelines : )  I just made sure I ate 3 square meals a day and snacks and ate whatever sounded good to satisfy any cravings that my body may have been telling me I was lacking.

    Wanted to add that even though I didn't follow Dr. Luke's specific food guidelines... I did take her advice of drinking a nutritional shake every day from about the middle of my 2nd tri until the end of my pregnancy : )

    Congratulations!! And I also read and liked the Dr Luke book; I also got WTEWYE (and haven't read it much, a breastfeeding book, Happiest Baby on the Block and Baby Bargains - not very twin specific) I hope you have a great pregnancy!

    congrats!  Hope you feel well and have a great pregnancy.  I love Twin Set.  It is more for when they are born.  I found that I was so monitored by my doc that I didn't really need resources for the pregnancy and wanted to be ready for when the babes come.  It is written by twin moms and has sections by doctors who are parents of multiples.

    This board is great for advice.  I would also suggest finding out if there is a MoMs group in your area.  I have found them to be very supportive as well.
