Anyone's dd out of toddler shoes now?

Where do you shop for shoes?  My go-to shoes for her have always been See Kai Run because they fit her fat feet, but she is now out of the toddler sizes and the bigger girl shoes aren't that cute.

I have no clue where to even look, but this kid needs shoes asap.

  • DS has ridiculously large feet - we just moved him up to size 10 xw's over the weekend.  Stride Rite has always been good to us, in fact, it's the only place we can get shoes that fit.  If you've got an outlet near you I'd head there first, the shoes are much more reasonable than at the mall.

We don't have a stride rite here.  I guess I could check their website.  Thanks!  My dd just outgrew size 10!

  • just casual shoes?  Or tennis shoes? DD is still in toddlers, but DS just moved into little boys.....and we were on a manhunt yesterday for some sort of casual/play shoes.  He's a flip-flopper in the summer, so I just did't want to spend $50 on more tennis shoes to wear a couple months and he has a really wide foot (W-XW at StrideRite).  We went to Shoe Carnival/Finish Line/Kids Foot Locker/Rack Room/Foot Action.....I'm so done with this mall by us - most stores are 'geographically stocked' and fashionable Nike are what sells.  So....we ended up at Target since it's attached to the mall alos.  That Converse line they sell?  Fit GREAT.  $18.  they had pink and another plaid for girls.  Ben was so excited to have some that were all red.

As for fun girly shoes, I think Stride Rite usually has some really cute leather Mary Jane-type in several colors/designs.  But for DD, she's all about her Crocs in the summer....the have a new girlier design I just saw that I am debating.

  • I did notice Kohl's website had an expanded size selection for toddler/kids - maybe check there or in store?
