caramel sauce...gross/interesting...TMI

We have a bottle heater that DH has been using when he gives the babies a bottle of my pumped milk. The other day I looked at it and there was a bunch of stuff in the bottom of it so I pulled out the little tray thing to clean it out and realized there was a lot of really gross looking stuff that looked and smelled like caramel sauce. So I look up the recipe for caramel sauce... Sugar, butter, whipping cream + heat. Apparently DH had made some form of caramel sauce out of my sugary, fat-filled milk when he spilled some in the bottom of the bottle heater. Weird!
