I bought these little willow tree figurines for my best friend and her mom who hosted. They loved them. Its the "thank you" angel. I got them at Hallmark.
For my best friend, I got her a Nordstrom gift card to splurge on herself (or her daughter) after all the splurging she did to throw me a shower! My mom threw another shower with help from MIL, SIL, and two friends of mine. I went to ULTA (like Sephora) and got some extra yummy body wash, lotion, and a bamboo shower puff - put them in a bag with a note "From my 'shower' to yours - thanks a bunch!". I also got my mom a Nana frame at Target because that's what she is planning to go by. :-)
Both of my hostesses have pools at their houses, so with warmer weather approaching I bought them each beach towels and had them embroidered/appliqued individually to suit their personalities. I refer to them as my "BFFL's" (pronounced Biffles) - Best Friends for Life LOL I know it's corny but it's supposed to be because we always say it very Valley girlish to each other! Anyway I had "BFFL" put on their towels instead of their names. I got the towels at Bed Bath & Beyond for like $8 each and the embroidery/applique was $10-$15. Simple but I think they really liked them because they are something they will use, people will as "What's BFFL mean?" and they will think of me and smile whenever they use it!
