Cold? Anything I can give her?

I think DD has gotten a cold. H and I were both sick a couple weeks ago and his cold turned into pneumonia. She's been sneezing a lot more than usual and coughing a little. Not a congested cough, but a cough none the less. Her eyes also look a little glassy and teary sometimes. I've been sucking her nose out, but is there anything else I can do for her? I also have the humidifier on at night. Thanks!

ughh, join the cold club.

olivia had a cold a couple weeks ago, it cleared up, and now she has another. it sucks!!! all you can do is saline, sucky, humidifier, steamy room, keep her head elevated at night, tylenol (if she has a fever), and hugs. get better lo!!

DD had a cold when she was about 2.5 months. We gave her some homeopathic remedies, used the humidifier, "steamed" her in the bathroom with the shower running and sucked out her nose. I ended up giving her Tylenol one night to help her sleep (but this doesn't actually cure the cold - nothing really does but time!).

I agree with just humidified air - steam from the shower and tylenol if she has a fever or is fussy. Feel better soon Addy!
