If I was on baby #1 I would totally get the babyjogger city select. It is a awesome single stroller but an even more awesome double stroller for when/if you have kid #2. Unfortunately it is just too pricey for us to buy as a new double stroller with all the accessories we would need to buy.

This is a HUGE selling point for us right now since we're hoping #2 will be 2-3 years behind #1.

We are getting the BJ city select, I test drove both and felt like they were both really nice, but I didn't like how the uppababy didn't have all the different seating arrangements as the BJ and I felt like it was kind of a tight fit once you put the rumble seat on. The Uppababy did have a bigger basket but the BJ one is still really big.
I'm getting the Uppa. Between the toddler board and Rumble seat it will provide enough options. The mix and match options look pretty awkward on the City Select. If #2 comes earlier than expected I'll manage by maybe wearing the baby as a newborn for a while.
I already own the VISTA and my sister, who is pregnant with her first, just got the BJ City Select. I think they're both great strollers with a lot of good features, although each has it's own strengths. I love the big basket on the VISTA - I do a lot of errands on foot and I can get a ton of groceries in there. It also "drives" really nicely. I am impressed with all the configurations the City Select can do, though!

I did not test drive the BJ b/c it was out of stock when we went to the store, but I did test drive all the other comprables (Bugaboo, etc) and we're getting the Vista for a number of reasons:
1) The storage basket is nice and big - the biggest of all the ones we test. I plan on using the stroller for walks to the gorcery store/CVS so wanted a big basket.
2) It comes with the bassinet and accessories so you don't have to pay extra.
3) I like the adjustable handle and didn't kick the wheels when walking.
4) it's one-step fold with the infant seat on.
5) It's rugged enough for DH and stylish enough for me.
6) I can take it on our unpaved trails in our town (not to run) for long walks.
I'm sure the BJ has some of these same features, though.

the 2010 Vista has a bunch of new great features-IMO its better than the 09. i tested both models side by side at BBB
ETA: i have not physically tested the BJC but i will be. as of now its the Vista for us
We'd be getting the '10 model.
I can't get out to BBB for another few weeks but I will be going to try out both models before deciding.
