What is the baby sleeping in? We were looking at BRU at bassinets but the matress seems like the same one for the pac-n-plays. I feel like the baby should be sleeping on a real matress at night. Any recomendations? TIA
We have a bissinet that was given to us, so that is what we will use. They used it for their kids, and it is in great shape, so one less thing to buy is fine with us!

We had a pack and play with the bassinet in it given to us, and initially that was what we were going to use, but the pack and play took up more space than we really wanted to. Then the IL's found us a Pooh bassinet at Wal Mart. It was the display one, so they got it for $50. We're not crazy about Pooh, but it's smaller in size, seems pretty comfy, and even vibrates, plays music, and has a mobile. For $50 we couldn't ask for better!!!
My brother and SIL gave us their UppaBaby Vista as a hand me down so I think the baby's going to be sleeping in that thing's bassinet to start. I think they might also have a Moses basket they might be sending our way so we'll probably try that too. We plan to play it by ear figuring the baby will sleep where he wants to sleep.
We will be buying a bassinet for LO to sleep in for a while so that he will be in our room and make midnight feedings easier on me. I haven't looked at their mattresses though.
I think we're going to go with a Moses Basket, just because our bed is on the floor, so we'd like little one's to be as well. We'll eventually move up to a pack-n-play and take it home with us when we move home from overseas next year.

A basinette on wheels. You can get her a firm but cozy mat for it instead of what they sell them with.
She wall fall asleep in it in our room and wake up in the nursery after three months so we can transition her to her crib.
