How long did you wait tell your family??

How long did you wait to tell family and friends that you are pregnant? I am soooo happy and elated that I hate to keep this wonderful news only between me & my husband. Is it too early too jinx it if I'm only 4 wks along? Or should I wait until my first ob visit? Or 2nd tri?

    The plan was to tell as close to 12 weeks as possible. Due to a little complication I had an U/S at 11 weeks so we told them as soon as we saw that the baby was healthy. I was afraid to tell anyone any sooner.

    We told everyone the same day we found out. We were SO excited, I couldn't keep the news to myself.

    Plus, I couldn't imagine having something happen and not being able to talk to my mom or best friends about it --- good news or bad, I wanted to be able to tell them.

    We've told our immediate family only so far. We'll wait to tell the world until after our next u/s when I'm 15 weeks.

    We waited till 10 weeks to tell immediate family...We were discharged from the RE at that point and he thought it was "safe" to tell...We told everyone else after our NT scan...I was 13 weeks

    We told our immediate family with the first one at 6 weeks and then I miscarried at 8.  This time we're waiting until the first tri is over.  My sister and my best friend know, but that's it aside from my hubby.  Its hard to keep it a secret, but I want to wait this time.
